Silver eagle "depository" turns confiscatory, now subject of investigation, $146M fine
Bad enough when the future undeniably holds the threat of a government confiscation of precious metals from the public (shades of FDR and May, 1933). Seems private "depositories" are capable of beating Feds to the punch.
