Dropping like flies in Dem-Land: 17 overdose deaths in Milwaukee Co in 3 days. Thank you Biden-Mayorkas for a porous, unvetted border--and prevailing atmosphere of hopelessness among the young

It's sad to see young Americans committing to drugs in such a reckless manner. As America turns away from its capitalist roots, Biden and fellow Dems offer only welfare bucks and woke alternatives such as chemical castration to assuage identity crises and alienation.

I have no problem with junkies dropping like flies.
If anything, it's a net-benefit to society as a whole.

    1) I dead junkie doesn't steal anymore to support his habit.
    2) A dead junkie's family can finally have closure; no more wondering with that phone call happens, it's over & done.
    3) A dead junkies childhood friends no longer have to ask "I wonder what ever happened to...?"
    4) A dead junkie's enablers will have to fine a new person to attach themselves to, possibly someone that is stronger of character.
    5) The death of a junkie ends cost(s) to the government with the disposition of the body.
    6) The death of a junkie sends a loud & clear warning message to children that drugs are dangerous.
    7) Children that are too stupid to recognize that message are going to wind up as junkies anyway, but society can't say they weren't warned.
    8) Every dead junkie is proof that the 'war on drugs' has been a losing battle since day one.

I can go on, but I think I've made my point.

We are on the same page -- I had a kid brother that was a junkie ... perpetual drunk.
Found 15 years ago on his back in his shithole of an apartment... Found, 2 weeks after he had asphyxiated in his own vomit. As you indicate, this brought to a close my parents constantly wondering if the ring of the phone was "the call" related to his passing.
Alcoholism is not a disease -- it is a behavior -- it is a choice.
I like reality -- so call them what they are -- drunks.

      9) A dead junkie means no more bastard offspring that will now need to be raised by The State.
I could also go on, and perhaps will, under a new thread -- something regarding "The Parenting Delusion" and how children, and more importantly, their fundamental attributes, are party to The Genetic Crap-Shoot. Long story short -- I am Not my Brother's Keeper.

If you put 100 M&Ms in a jar with a label on it that says FREE but the label also says one of the M&Ms is poison and will kill you instantly. People who can read who are not junkies will not touch the candy but lots of dopes will take a chance.
I don't get upset about anyone who ingests an illegal drug and dies from it. Russian Roulette!

When I was ANTI-Drug. My answer was simple.
Poison the drugs we confiscate, and put them back out on the street.

Once you have about a 10-25% chance of death on every drug you use... Either you stop consuming... OR You are NOT WORTH Saving.

    Simple.

But now that I understand how much our government is INVOLVED in drug running. Well, that just costs them customers...

Finally, as I grew up. What WE DO with our bodies, in private is on us. There should be no FDA, No Rx drugs, None of it. Because it all just gets corrupted by the government.

Junkies, drunks and druggies become wards of the State.
They become clients for the State.
Perpetuating the drug culture and offering a safety net for the druggies is part of the Feature Set, it is not a Bug in the System.
At present, there is so much Slop in the System -- such an overabundance of sustenance -- that the State can get away with doling out the goodies to the bums. Eventually Reality has to play out, we crest the summit of the Decadence Curve and fall over to the other side. We still have a long way to fall - and as some would say -- Enjoy the Decline.

Evildoers who lust to obtain absolute power over the rest of us views the current drug overdose epidemic, chaos at the border and the deaths, rapes and child trafficking that goes with it, inflation, food shortages and the ongoing economic collapse as acceptable collateral damage. Why am I suddenly thinking of that sleazy smile often seen on Chuck Schumer's face?

A friend of mine works for a Rehab facility in Florida. They had a bad stretch recently where some of the people they had helped relapsed and died. She said it's the fentanyl. Sad
