It's impossible not to notice how the progs/libs have twisted our language around to the point that words and phrases almost can't be recognized. I won't start a list here because I doubt I'd finish the list before arthritis and carpal tunnel set in. (Yet another of the items they used from the inadvertent blueprint that AS has turned out to be.)

From my perspective, one of the most stressed items in AS is the concept of self, individual, man being an end unto himself, etc. And the word "ego" is often used as an insult in that masterpiece. I am an avid crossword puzzle solver, and it's been interesting watch the clues that are used in crossword puzzles when the answer is "ego" or "egos".

I've written each different clue down as I've seen it, and over the past year or so, there have been only two that weren't meant as an insult or in a negative context. The only neutral clues for ego were "self" and "sense of self".

Here's my list of negative clues for the answer "ego" or "egos":

Big headed sorts
Swelled heads
Problem that often comes with success
Problem for an "I" specialist
Inflated self-images
"I" problems
They're inflatable
Big headedness
Analyst's concern

As I've watched the left increase its attacks on the individual, it makes me wish I was back in school. God, how I would love to stand up and tell a teacher that he/she was full of shit, hoping that there were enough others like me in the class to back me. If not, that's fine. I've never been afraid to stand as a minority of one. But oh, how I would love to try and disrupt the system at that level.
