    I liked his response. If she didn't like the independent lifestyle of the west. The guns and fraking, she should have done better research before moving there.

    I saw this same type of person move into Nevada. They moved to get their kids away from that bad influences, then brought it all with them. Now instead of being Californias smoking section Nevada is eastern California.

    well, I liked everything but the last sentence.
    What he should have written there was that our legislature protects the rights of its citizens from busybody's like you who want to take them away. It doesn't matter if you lived here one month or 100 years, we're still sworn to protect the rights of our citizens.

      Absolutely! I just sent emails to my own representatives, and actually received a personal response from one of them! A republican, actually. I have received three others, automatically generated, from the dems. Of course! Lol

        our rep from Colorado always replies personally-can you say letter writer? that is me. or office caller. when they were getting ready for the vote on America Invents Act, he put together a team of advisors and asked us to do a round table discussion on it, with some of the inventors in our district who strongly opposed it. We were appreciative for the attentiveness and how knowledgeable his staff was-and he voted correctly, but overall the rest of the deadbeats in congress including RYAN were being their little ol DC selves

          I think it's absolutely imperative that more people actually get involved in the politics of their states. The reps need to be held accountable for their actions. It's great that yours in Colorado actually gave a hoot about the voices of their constituents. And Ryan is a typical DC politician. He back pedals when confronted about his beliefs if they're deemed politically damaging.
