The Dissident

One man's outcry falls unheard
on Halls of Justice so misnamed
with predetermined verdicts
that hold him bound and chained

While other men refuse to see
the anguish in his quest
and close their ears as not to hear
his life become a test

A dissident is he
who finds the meaning of the I
while all others speak as We
from Halls that house repeated lies
that reappear as Rights disguised

Minds as kernels must be fertile
and nurtured in their youth
so that men may know
their souls are free
and yearn to speak the truth

The comments are there are painful to see. So many misinformed individuals out there who want to see the movie flop.
