Dr. Phi Trans Shows
I happened to see a couple recent Dr. Phil shows (I don't watch it - my son showed me on youtube) where the whole trans/pronouns issue was discussed. As I watched it I couldn't really believe what I was observing. The pro-pronoun side seemed completely insane. For example - One of the lawmakers from Florida who authored what they called the "don't say gay" bill came on the show and made it clear, "I want every child of every race, gender, color to have a safe educational experience." One of the pro-trans guests said, "I want to hear you say that you want trans children to be safe in school." "I just said I want all kids to be safe." "Oh, he won't say it." It's like the leftists on the shows were speaking a different language. Matt Walsh ("What is a Woman?") was on the show and made a lot of sense.
When I listened to these people who were pushing gender topics for kindergartners I felt like I was seeing pure evil. To see how they twist language and refuse to answer questions is really troubling. Walsh would say, "What is a woman?" and they'd say something about "womanhood". Of course, those are different things but in spite of being asked several times they just refused to answer the original question. It's this twisting of logic and the complete bastardization of language that is so, so troubling to me. To sit in a society and mangle the language in real time in order to debate...It's like hearing people from another planet. The fascination with children, to me, is evil. I don't know how this debate is going to get resolved but it seems like it's not going to be good. Most mainstream Americans are docile, patient people. But I recently saw footage of a school board meeting with a bunch of big, pissed off Muslim men. We don't need to explain the recent history on that.
During the show it was revealed that this issue really only directly affects "1/2% of people" - yet, it's such a hot topic(?) What the hell is going on here, in your opinion?
