As far as cheer leading for Ms Lake, who here does not want an end to corruption? Of course I favor any candidate who acknowledges the corruption problem and wants to act to stop it. Can she do it? that remains to be seen.

No one commented or up-voted my statement by John Adams because of the buzz words "religious" and "moral" even though I explained his intention. Even so, Adams was stating what the Constitution required of its people for it to be effective: self governance limiting conduct in pursuit of life, liberty and happiness.
I am a constitutional conservative, a laughable statement these days, but none-the-less conserving (keeping, retaining, holding fast to) the tenants of our founding father in a SOCIETY is exactly what everyone should be seeking today. Not more laws. Not ignoring evil to avoid making waves. The country needs people of character and conviction adhering to their personal creed to guide their behavior so society doesn't have to force them to behave with laws. And now, today, the near total absence of creed and conviction, secular or otherwise, has decimated this country top to bottom like a cancer.

Objectively there is good and evil. Those who endorsed Lake's opponent spoke volumes to who Lake is. Since "who knows what evil lurks in the heart of men" is more real than a comic line, we can only go off what people show. I've been following Lake for many many years. I've spoken to her via facebook when I was there. My hope is that she's as sincere as I've taken her to be. Pointing a spotlight on the depravity of our government, our news agencies, and our immigration issue is commendable for no other reason that it was done with high visibility.

The Trump campaign filed a great number of lawsuits, but could not find nor show any credible evidence of a fraud. There was none, as far as any of us can tell.
But when candidates repeat that canard, they are undermining the decent, reasonable discourse that we must have in our country.
When both sides scream that the election was "stolen" every time they lose, we are turning into Kenya, not a beacon of individual rights and democracy.

I personally encountered the attempt to stop me from voting by the state prior to the election and then had my vote ignored because they provided a marker that bled through the ballot invalidating it.
