Newsom is as out of touch (perhaps even more than most other Democrats) with real people's concerns as possible, and has thoroughly embraced all of the elements of wokeness and the Green New Deal, so he's the perfect candidate for the new, gloriously reinvented Democrat party. He's a spokesperson for painting a picture of the utter failure of extreme left wing policies as a great victory, and ready to double down on all the lies he and the DNC have been spouting.

I think Newsom stands a better chance of nomination than Hillary redux, but don't be too surprised when he has to struggle to stay further left than all the other wannabe socialist dictators running for the Democrat nomination. There are a couple of other governors as unpopular in their home states as Newsom is who have either stated their interest in running, or have been mentioned by Democrat advisors, so the circus is only beginning.

Don't forget, AOC will be 35 by January 2025, so there's a distinct possibility she might also toss her hat in the ring. The media will be eager for that one, running as a Millennial Hispanic female candidate, she has all the tickets punched but the LGBT one (and she might get her boyfriend to go along with a rumor that she's actually bisexual, if she thinks that will help running against Mayor Petey).

Go back to all paper ballots and voting on election day under strict guard. Absentee voting only by those who have good reason and request a ballot. ID proof that you are a citizen and have the right to vote in your district and very severe punishment for anyone who is caught lying or cheating in any way. Vote fraud should be a federal law with a mandatory minimum of one year in federal prison upon conviction and no judge may reduce or refuse to send you to prison. The only thing Newsome has going for himself is pretty hair but dumb as a box of rocks under it.

I have been saying for a few months now that he'll be our next ELECTED president. I'm taking $100 bets and have two takers so far. Everybody says, "oh no!!!" But, those familiar with him and Cali politics start thinking ang get slightly horrified look on their faces. I saw the ads he's running in Florida. He's pulling on that elderly, New York transplant vote down there. I'm telling you...he's going to be President Newsome. (I'm somewhat sarcastic...but, not much....I really think he may be the guy).

Governor Newsom is running for re-election now, and expected to win easily. His new term will run until 2026. Then he will be term-limited out. So I expect him to run "for real," if he ever does, in 2028. I don't expect him to win the general election.

In 2024 the Dems have no chance unless they cheat big again, and they know it. So if Newsom runs he will just be going through the motions. More likely just a few of the 24 Dem candidates who tried in 2020 will try again.

Newsome might try for presidency, but he has no chance. My guess is Beto will be the dem pick in 2024. The left is pushing him to become governor of texas this year and then run for president in 2024. They are pushing him as the modern day version of Kennedy.
