What fossils could possibly be at that type of location. Several years ago , When doing due diligence on offshore drilling companies . I thought , That was some thing that needed some explaining. So with a little searching . I learned that the accepted science came from a study bought and paid for by Rockefeller. The conclusion was oil (fossil fuel) originated from plant and animal matter over 1 million years old.. Pretty convenient result. In the following years we , the US found that we have more oil than Saudi Arabia, so that I god against the we are running out of theme prevalent during our lifetime. In my mind some of these science truths from the past are questionable theories. Who is funding and what results are desired is also potentially a thimb on the scale of logic or not.
Case in point in 5th grade science class our science book showed how the moon was formed . The image was of the Earth with a moon attached to it and it eventually broke off the planet and spun out to where it orbits now. Right.
Now what is the rate at which the surface sinks?
If it is one inch per year then think about 360,000 years.
That is nothing in terms of geology.
How long is it that trees have been on Earth- maybe a 100 million years.
The Abiogenic Theory for the origin of our coal, oils.. associated with the name of geologist Thomas Gold but more popular in Russia than here is declining in support. I rather like it myself, but good strong evidence one way or the other does not exist. Lots of weak evidence both ways is available so plenty of scope for argument!
I Question everything these days. I don’t claim to have the answers. I understand that the earths surface sinks at subduction zones. But I am still confused at how we can find brontosaurus bones and trex bones or even Allosaurus (different Lizard) bones . When they should have all been sunk into the earths mantle and melted.
