I Registered to Vote

Now that I'm in a state that has some hope I did something that shocked even me..haha. I registered to vote. While going in to buy some fishing gear (I'm fishing Indian territory next week) I was approached in front of the store. I haven't been registered to vote for well over a decade...actually about two decades. Living in California it was a waste of time and the only purpose it served (the system) was to get me into jury duty more often. The two elderly gentlemen working the table asked people walking in behind me if they registered to vote. Two beautiful blondes said, "Yep! Let's go Brandon." on their way in. I actually almost got teary-eyed over filling out that form. Republican. Registering for anything else (other than the Demons) is like ordering a burger and not being able to eat it. Big day...I still have some hope, I guess. Pretty much in the Gulch, though. The two gentlemen asked where I moved from and we had a nice conversation. They got it. Everybody I know here does. I said, "If this place goes the way of California my next stop is Wyoming. After that - probably Panama." They seemed to totally understand...

Cheers everybody...

I just checked and my Passport doesn't expire until May 2027. My BFF has a daughter who is a Nurse Prac and she bought a property in Mexico. She's very pleased with the Medical community and her property is something on the order of a hotel. Has a suite for me. Ta Da.

When I read AS for the first time, I had no idea that I would be living it when I grew up. As to. How this real-lfe tale will end, my thought is it will end in a bloodbath. The actual steps to reach that point are too uncertain to plan around with any accuracy, but common sense tells me that when things go, anything goes. There's no such thing as being over-prepared.

I vote. Every time. In person. If things start disintegrating here, Wyoming is my choice. Don't give up hope yet, though, unless the Kali-lemmings are bringing it all with them like a trail of putrid slime. Maybe the Red states should have a quarantine for incoming Kali-libs to give them a chance to cleanse their poor, brainwashed little minds...

Eventually, many states won't allow Californians to move there. I base this completely on the popularity of this sentiment. Add that that...the Governor of Cali may close the borders too, to keep all the revenue generators (the producers) from leaving. As it is now...When you move out of California you don't get a free pass. You need to be ready to provide documentation to prove to the state you are no longer a citizen of Cali. They are going after people who leave for taxes.
