The swamp has deeper roots than you can imagine. Too many officers promoted for their political skills than their military expertise going far back. Rumsfeld tried to change the way flag officers were promoted, and his career was destroyed.

General Eisenhower, credited with the defeat of Nazi Germany, never experienced a shot fired in combat, and his political machinations delayed the end of the war. General Patton had not one, but two opportunities to defeat the Wehrmacht, and was stopped both times by Eisenhower.

The first time Patton's own version of blitzkrieg was stopped was to divert his supplies to British General Montgomery's ill fated operation Market Garden offensive into the Netherlands. After that failed, and Patton's troops stopped the German offensive of the Battle of the Bulge, Eisenhower ordered him to delay crossing the Rhine. Eisenhower was afraid that Patton would reach Berlin before the Russians, a goal FDR had promised to Stalin.

Had the US unleashed the real warrior, Patton, we might have swept across the Rhine and taken Berlin even before Hitler could have organized for the Bulge offensive. Instead we let the politician in uniform, Eisenhower, dictate strategy, resulting in the deaths of many more American troops and a delay in ending the war.

Maybe the long history lesson is out of place, but I felt it a necessary reminder of how civilian control of the military has its flaws.

China won't need hypersonic missiles to defeat us. They can just sit back and watch us defeat ourselves. 🙁

Under the first "black" Potus, our government attempted to perfect and RNA vaccine which would have wiped out the African" race, because he knew he is nto an Obama, and is above both white and black races, a prince with no country.
Biden, and the Gates, Fauci bunch are breaking the Constitution which forbids this forced vaccine, but they did the same during the Gulf War, with unapproved caccines, which cost our nephew his life, making him with breathing issues and disabilities for the rest of his life. This vaccine is known to cause blood clots, reently proven to remove oxygem from red bllod cells, replicates the virus to all organs and erases the immune syster, per head of covid19 taskforce. Why on Earth would anyone mandate it for our military, weakening our defense, unless there was something in it for Biden? Is it that important to depopulate via vaccine 75% of our country, just to please one world UN?

The degradation of our military through political witch hunts, vaccine mandates, and with members leaving the military is going to destroy our ability to thwart China from being more aggressive in the pacific. there are rumours on the internet that China is going to take some type of military action at the end of the Olympics there. I wouldn't put it past the CCP holding the athlete's hostage for territorial acquisition.
