EDUCATION

I am so glad that the current political madness has focused on education. I hope this continues and leads to the complete elimination of government schools. The human infant is the only species born without a programed structure for survival, the only one that doesn't have to accept nature for what it is but can make it into what he needs and wants to have. Parents provide the fundamentals for survival but then pay for educators to supply higher level knowledge for each to strive for fulfilment as a productive individual. If parents are too busy, or don't care and leave the beginning to day-care and the further education to government propaganda factories, we will all become slaves.

We would be starving for what we want but we would have an oversupply of what they wanted us to have "for our own good".

Let's campaign for the ABOLITION of government schools. For the disestablishment of education, as the Church was disestablished. It would take a long time; but it could be done. Half measures such as "charter" schools, having the government finance them but not run them, won't work. What the government finances, it has to have a voice in, and be responsible for. Do what we must push and fight for, is abolition.

Want to get with me and start a movement to abolish public education?--That's what we need to do. Before it's too late!--Though it would take a long time to succeed.
The established Church was disestablished; the Educational Establishment should be, also. (I wrote this as a reply to coaldigger.)

It's just like anything that is run by the government. If housing or grocery stores were state run, we would be angrily debating what they should be like instead of just buying what we want.

Listen up! I have always depended upon my sons' educators to teach them sensibly. I was busy working my butt off and my husband was out there fighting oppression in Southeast Asia. Don't blame the parents. The fault is entirely on the educators.

You depended on the wrong people. You depended on people that sent our young men to die in a rotten jungle to play out their power fantasies and to support one side in a civil war, that was at least as corrupt as the other. Blood and treasure spent for nothing no matter how brave and courageous. After they kicked us out, they are fine and maybe better off than we are.
Now these same statists want to insure their rule over us stupid sheep and we have left the door wide open. We should not have children to provide them with robots. Our children need to learn how to survive by the only means humans have which is by their minds, by reason. Our material well being seems to be a nice goal but not at the price of liberty. It is government schools that I distrust. Parents, just like any good managers should hire professionals to educate their young but it is the parents responsibility to ensure that those professionals are accountable to them not some tyrant.
