When I Went in to Clear out My Desk...

So, yesterday in response to my employer requiring the COVID vax or weekly testing I went in to clear out my desk of all my personal items. It was kind of sad...I had hung up many drawings my daughter made, photos of my son, etc. As I walked in I was stopped by my boss and...get this...he asked me if I'd take his position over as he's being promoted up. What a strange circumstance. They don't want me to go. I humbly understand that. But, this idiotic policy is hurting the organization, and will ultimately hurt our entire state. Recently I've had interest from engineering firms who can't find anybody to hire. I tell them, "They have all moved away." Anyway...I was kind of floored. It was a tough day. I love the work I do. Years ago I had posted up a small statement next to my computer. It was the definition of "informed consent". I took it down, stared at it, and hung it outside of my workstation for all to see.

Many years ago when I started there I made friends with a stunning brunette. I remember her saying we'd be friends for many years and that we'd ultimately retire together. Somehow we did end up working together the past few years. There was a large meeting in the office to celebrate something yesterday. She came right up to me in front of everybody, hugged me and kissed me through our masks.

I think I am going to start my own consulting firm.

I am in the same boat (or at least I see it in the very near future). I am in the med device industry and it's coming as they already require me to wear a mask since I am unvaccinated which is a beg scarlet letter so everyone can visually see I am in the minority at my office for not being vaxed. I told my boss that if a mandate goes into effect to assume my 2 week notice.

It's hard as the only states standing up to these mask and vac mandates don't have a lot of industry and the pay is so much less.

Going to be between a rock and a hard place soon.

    Stay strong!!

Since Texas is an employer 'at will' state (this means you can be fired if they don't like your hairdo), I never collected any personal items in my various desks. Wanted to be able to escape in a hurry if I chose to do so! She who travels lightly, travels quickly.

If you are being forced to Vax in order to keep your job, here's a great way to handle it.
The secret is NOT to refuse it…
A friend in the NHS is being pressured to take the jib.
‘I write with regard to the matter of potential covid vaccine and my desire to be fully informed and appraised of ALL facts before going ahead.
I’d be most grateful if you could please provide the following information, in accordance with statutory legal requirements:
    1. Can you please advise me of the approved legal status of any vaccine and if it is experimental?
    2. Can you please provide details and assurances that the vaccine has been fully, independently and rigorously tested against control groups and the subsequent outcomes of those tests?
    3. Can you please advise of the full list of contents of the vaccine I am to receive and if any are toxic to the body?
    4. Can you please fully advise of all the adverse reactions associated with this vaccine since it’s introduction?
    5. Can you please confirm that the vaccine you are advocating is NOT ‘experimental mRNA gene altering therapy’?
    6. Can you please confirm that I will not be under any duress from yourselves as my employers, in compliance with the Nuremberg Code?
    7. Can you please advise me of the likely risk of fatality, should I be unfortunate to contract Covid 19 and the likelihood of recovery?
Once I have received the above information in full and I am satisfied that there is NO threat to my health, I will be happy to accept your offer to receive the treatment, but with certain conditions - namely that:
    1. You confirm that I will suffer no harm.
    2. Following acceptance of this, the offer must be signed by a fully qualified doctor who will take full legal and financial responsibility for any injuries occurring to myself, and/or from any interactions by authorized personnel regarding these procedures.
    3. In the event that I should have to decline the offer of vaccination, please confirm that it will not compromise my position and that I will not suffer prejudice and discrimination as a result?
I would also advise that my inalienable rights are reserved.’
The point being though, is that they CANNOT provide that information but you’ve NOT refused… GIVE THIS TO YOUR HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICE

Years ago I saw a very similar letter regarding childhood vaccines. It ALSO required the doctor to take on liability AND THIS IS KEY! Without that not only will nobody take liability but your family will be forced to take care of you as the medical industry does not recognized vaccine injury. Oh, they see it. They just gaslight it and do not a damn thing to help you. Must be f*&king nice...
