GM spokesperson Kristin Zimmerman admits 95% of “clean” energy to charge electric cars comes from COAL
In the video clip, the arrogance of these self -righteous, do-good, environmental waco types is appalling. She doesn’t even care what produces the electrical power required to charge the damn car. All she cares about is promoting ‘Green’ when it is nowhere close to being even slightly green. Just wait until the rolling blackouts hit her home ... she will be the first to melt down and blame the coal companies. Pompous worthless parasite. Go get a real job...

Coal is only about 11% of the US electric power source. There is absolutely no possible way, coal is the source for 95% of electric vehicle charging.
EVs are more efficient than ICE vehicles, end-to-end. Range anxiety is typically over played. EVs are more expensive. EVs should not be subsidized. They should penetrate the market based on customer desire. However, EVs are not charged with 95% coal fueled sources.
This is precisely the false narrative that gets us painted with the Qanon-crazy brush.
Yeah, and then for some reason these three seconds heard a long, long time ago just up and popped into me old dino head~~

After my reaction, I read Thoritsu's post. OK, mostly fossil fuel then. 80% total. Calling it coal kinda a cover-all.
If they only knew that oil is a RENEWABLE resource!
