Greetings everyone. I'm new to the Gulch here online, but not new to objectivist philosophy, capitalism, true free markets, market anarchy/anarchocapitalism... I am a voluntaryist. I just thought it might be nice to come hang out with folks who are a lil more likely to see things more similarly to the way I do. Legalize and universalize non-aggression. Capitalism and Markets over corporatism and manipulation. I look forward to learning from you all and sharing with you as well. Thank you very much for a warm welcome, and for visiting my site!

Intellectual property is still something I am working out for myself. There are excellent arguments on both sides of the issue, as I see it... People should profit from their original ideas without being stolen from, but IP does a lot to stifle innovation. The original idea can often be improved upon by a secondary party, resulting (often) in innovation and lower prices. I suppose I am more against IP than I am for it, but the conundrum is not lost on me.

there is actually no macro economic evidence that IP stifles innovation. In fact, those countries with strong IP,, are the most innovative. every invention is a combination of existing things and so therefore an improvement on something. and IP when the anti trust nazis don't get involved, make sure both the "originator" and "improver" both have rights. I look forward to your posts in here.
