He learned this from Obama - you talk about something you know about but don't have the slightest inclination of pursuing with integrity because you are appealing to those who do. The problem is that anyone who is actually pursuing truth can see right through such transparent hypocrisy. When Barack Obama said "Let me be clear" he meant precisely the opposite. He was simply pandering to those who like him think they want truth but actually don't. It is self-deception at its most extreme.

I think this is reserved for a slack-jaw, mouth-breather interpretation....or it's only dementia.
