It is semi-plausible, and my first thought when I heard it. However, it would be irrelevant because she’d need to get a constitutional change. The 25th does provide a tough road, but it is still there.

Her “committee” would have to be bi-partisan and have no-partisan support because this body must be made by law which means the full Congress, and be signed into law by the president. That is step one.

Assume they somehow get that. It then also requires the complicity of the Vice President. Harris would likely not publicly go along with it so she doesn’t come off as too obvious. Normally she might not care but ...

Assume that part succeeds. Then what? All it takes to trip it up is Biden sending a letter to the Senate claiming he is fine. Now what? Now it takes a supermajority if BOTH houses of Congress.

I’m not going to say the Republicans aren’t stupid, but I’d be incredibly surprised if they went along with it at that point. Is fully expect them to say “you ran him, he stays” and the people would be right there with them.

Pelosi is just trying to get the spotlight back.

After all that it requires no one to take the issue to the Supreme Court where it would be ruled unconstitutional (assuming it hasn't been expanded and stuffed with leftists which is also unconstitutional unless an amendment is added.)
Nothing the feds do would surprise me at this point.
