In this case it was a young lady who, after pulling out of the driveway of a nursing home at night, completely blocked both lanes of a country road
and there "parked" to obviously yack on her cell as yours truly came around a curve of the road trying to get to a semi-retired securing job on time.
I also learned that airbags do not always work.
That's okay. My seat belt kept me safe as I sheared off the rear of her car from one side instead of broadsiding it. That kept the silly girl from being hurt too.
Her insurance adjuster told me on the phone I was tailgating her and mine said the girl did not at all like talking to her about my version of the accident.
I was going a bit too fast--but come on! Police report said it was both our faults. So that was that.
