According to Richard Ebright, an epidemiologist from Rutgers University, the UNC incident underscores an important development in virus research since the pandemic began:
“There has been an explosion of research involving fully infectious SARS-CoV-2 over the last six months. Research with infectious SARS-CoV-2 now is occurring in every, or almost every, BSL-3 facility in the US and overseas.”

3. What happens when a nefarious agent does manage to get access. Several arrests were made in Feb-April of Chinese nationals returning to china with corona virus samples. Why did they have it? Were they the equivalent of nuclear secrets?
4. Room for traitors. A leading Phd was arrested,because he had signed on with the Wuhan lab a couple years ago, and was a senior advisor. Yet he failed to tell his college or the government.
You cannot trust government because they have proven too willing to sacrifice the individual. Why would these clowns be any different? My proof: The demonrats made a huge deal about sexual harassment, the "me too" movement, all the top gas bags vented. Now...crickets. Especially when one woman turns in Biden. They use people, then discard. Remember the Kavanaugh hearings? Did anything ever come of all the "substantiated claims"? Thats because they were not. Nothing to stop them manipulating this stuff and getting some lemming to grab some particularly obnoxious flavor of it, and releasing it Nov5 in a fit of rage when Trump wins in a landslide and they carry out their vow of "he will never take office". Scorched Earth has been used before.

In this case I think it's even worse: they've totally disregarded all moral considerations entirely.
Now all this virus madness reminds me of a pretty good suspense movie I saw during the mid-Sixties about a laboratory-made doom virus aptly called The Satan Bug.
It was a virus kept under such massive security there was no possible way for it to get out. Yeah, you know how that always works out in science fiction.
Since Jules Verne and H.G. Wells began their writing careers, we all know that science fiction has a way of at times turning into science fact.
