Asking a question of the engineers on the site about ionization and uv air cleaners and their ability to kill viruses. The medical literature suggests wanted to know from engineering standpoint
kddr22 - there is on this site an expert in this subject!
Jim Brenner, jbrenner prof at Florida Technical University. If you search you should find his posts. I do not recall seeing him on here for few weeks, he could be busy. He has designed equipment specifically for virus control and, If I recall correctly, is investigating production.
The best nano meter length to use is 207 to 222nm, But that depends on the distance, power, etc between the light and the subject from what I understand. Old, standard tech uses 254nm which is far more harmful to eyes and skin....need a shorter wave length of light to bust things up at the dna level. Talk to J Brenner as Lucky suggests.
currently using combo ionization air cleaner with internal uv light filter in rooms and wearing a personalized ionized air cleaner around my neck( weights 2-3 oz)
