    These are fun. I like a lot of them but like others have said, it's getting to be depressing (obviously, not your fault). And for goodness sake, please don't stop!

    So, I'm calling out specifically - in a "pawsitive" way - the Dog Texting Codes, in honor of my new Granddog, Clover, a beautiful Golden Retriever. She was picked up this weekend from the breeder (yes I'd have rather they got a shelter dog, but nobody asked my opinion about that!)

    And I made sure to upvote the topic....:-)

        The funnier thing was the choice: Norton/Symantec. I used the original Norton products - the guy was a flipping genius. The stuff was lightweight and worked like a charm. One of my favorite tools was Norton Xtree Pro Gold - which allowed for byte-level file manipulation. (Mainly I just used it to hide my games from my siblings... ;) Then he sold his stuff to another company...

        Now Symantec's antivirus is the hallmark for bloat - an apt analogy to our government!

          Up until the last upgrade, Mcfee had a registry cleaner. I used it in conjunction with another reg,harddrive cleaner to get all the internet stuff off it.

          My laptop is eight years old and is still fast, although, 1/2 the screen goes black and I have to stick a short pencil inbetween to make it right.

          Eventually I will get another with 8 on it and try to clone the one I have onto the new one. I can also plug in a monitor.
          I am a writer, writing my next book and don't want to disturb any of my work...(superstitious, I know, I know.) ROTFBarking

            If it ain't broke, don't "fix" it is a mantra I wholly agree with. This age of "let's constantly change everything every day" in software is just nuts.

              No microsoft updates and no probs. The only updates I allow are Mcfee and Firefox.
              All you guys gave me good advice on saving my files/fav's and getting another laptop with 8 on it,,,staying away from 10.

      It's actually encouraged to kill these feral hogs wherever you find them, as they are literally destroying everything in their habitat and the predators - exempting man - are ineffective at population control. It's actually pretty cheap to find helicopter-based hunting parties where they'll track down a nest of them and then you shoot them from the air where you don't have to worry about them attacking either the dogs or the hunters.

    Trump was elected because enough folks got their heads out of their asses and drove to the voting place. Let us hope they come back in November or we might have to move to Andorra, .

    Having digested them, I became depressed a bit.

    Where is this going to end? It is so below any semblance of intelligent conduct that you easily lose your way and give up. I know that is the intent so the left will fill the void with even more filth. It is depressing to know that this is what the human race sank to.

      Yes, they have managed to drag some people down with them, but I constantly have to remind myself, that they are humanoid, no mutuality, no conscience, no logic, no morals, half brained at best or evil at it's worse.

      My disdain toward them has actually allowed me to see the good, the human, the consciously minded and the moral beings we occupy this planet with and it gives me hope.

      I am amazed, in this cyclical repeat of the end days of Noah that for once, a good portion of mankind has finally evolved above all those little particles that make some nuts (cosmic radiation), and is able to navigate the bumps in the road that others trip over.

            I believe that to be true..it brings to mind the enemy of the people. The media, the Deep state controlled weapon. Their psychological warfare against US is a coordinated attack. The schrapnel from the attacks seem to have injured almost everyone although the degree of injury varies. They are masters at deception , they manipulate with an understanding of how to twist and distort and pervert reality. always tugging at basic human emotion. For me I quit all corporate media 6 years ago. Right after Trump was elected I would hear From even his supporters “ I wish he was more
            “ Presidential” . Having never had a President who protected or advanced my self interest. I thought Why? Imitate the liars and traitors in Chief.
            Maybe it’s like the saying from the movie “ you want the truth , you can’t handle the truth.” ..
            Another criticism I hear still today From his supporters is” I wish he would stop tweeting.
            Again I am head scratching thinking is not that exactly what the brainwashing media wants? Pretty basic yet it appears to be effective.
            The reality for me is Trump has given the best
            “ Presidential” speeches that I will ever hear. He defines “Presidential “ period. Regarding Tweets here is an example of how easily the msm can manipulate someone. My dad who has grown to support Trump and is 87 without any computer/ internet email understanding ( none) . Said the other day Inwish Trump would stop tweeting. I said dad you don’t even know what a tweet is do you? He said no but he does it too much. We all should be soooo optimistic because for the first time we are fighting back and winning. Think about The Sanctuary city court ruling. Any examples of any President rolling back ignorant traitorous policies besides 45. MAGA is real we are witnessing the systematic destruction of the Old guard . FUQ them all.

              We have to realize brother, they don't know what the tweeting is all about. Conspiracies, theoretical or not, are not in their sphere of living nor thinking.

              It will be hard for them when it all comes down, good people they are for the most part...it will take a while to debrief them...so to speak.
