Kindness and Respect

After thinking about this last night, I've decided that I'm neither unkind, nor disrespectful, unless I feel you deserve either.

    I agree. I choose who to give kindness and respect to. There are people out there that will be insulted or take advantage of these types of acts. Attempting to bestow kindness and respect to everyone without using your own judgement could get you hurt or worse.

      And sometimes concealing your real feelings is more demeaning that revealing them. Even to the point of degrading another person's ability to be responsible for his own feelings.

    Must be my absolute conviction that whatever I say has been read by the Gulchers!--a play on myself.
    From Where is Circuit Guy. It had to do with how a person takes criticism of himself, and devolved into when to use kindness and respect and when to say exactly what you mean.

    IMHO, saying the truth even if it hurts when done with kindness and respect is more important than kindness & respectfulness without the truth. But then sometimes the best way to say the truth is with a 2x4 up side the head. With respect of course. Lol
