I parked in a public parking lot, and was amazed my car wasn't defaced or harmed in any way. I'm big on conservative bumper stickers.
I"m lucky I wasn't physically attacked last year. The cover of my bible was in tatters, and the best bindery in the area is in Ann Arbor. I parked a few blocks away so I could do some shopping on the way back to the car. Not thinking, I just carried the bible in my hands. Why bother with a bag if it's in tatters and being fixed, right? You should have seen the looks of pure loathing. My cousins said I should have sung a hymn or something. I probably wouldn't have made it out of town alive.
