Ok, I got a squirrel story.
I was, maybe 7 or 8 getting off the bus after school at my stop, noticed a squirrel in the road, he had a minor bloody nose and chipped tooth. So I picked him up along with my books and took him home, my mother was fit to be tied but took the squirrel in and put him in a cage until he got better.
All I really remember is that after a day or two, he was one pissed off squirrel . . . not very thankful that I saved his ass!

This 'system of government' faces an existential threat as well.

Reminds me of the time my brother came up from Houston to help out my mother after my Dad died, and she had a squirrel in the attic. So my brother, who had brought his wife, got this trap and managed to capture it, and his wife when she found out the squirrel had peed, he was so scared, said: "Oh, the poor little thing!"

    Yeah, it's a girl thing!

    That reminds me.

I once had this coon hound...only one thing on his mind: coons!

Just kidding. Got that from the Dillards at the Kentucky Blue Grass Festival 1999!

During the late Sixties my now deceased parents had a birdfeeder that attracted squirrels in a suburban neighborhood.
I was coming and going at the time and during a visit was amazed by all the multiplying fat squirrels I saw just hanging around about the tree that contained the birdfeeder.
My dad got his hands on a humane squirrel trap and one by one caught a critter, by car took it to a woods and let it go.
I noticed that the birdfeeder had also disappeared.
I once had a Florida Panhandle college roommate majoring in agriculture, who I spent a weekend at his parents' farm to shoot dove in season in fields that had crops freshly harvested.
Seeds left on the ground big time attracted the doves.
His mother cooked us a meal that combined of course dove breasts but also venison and squirrel meat. All of it quite tasty! Can't recall the veggies we ate with the meat.

I thought you would have posted it, but I did not see it.

My squirrels follow me to the mailbox waiting for their 'hand-out'. There is one who lives around me who will even come inside the house when the patio door is open! A regular little beggar.

Me dino thought about posting that Babylon Bee but it slipped my mind.
Guess it was election day jitters due to there being so much at stake.
Last night that squirrel's murder by pinheaded government workers was discussed on Gutfeld and even then I did not post the Babylon Bee email I had previously read.

Thank you for posting #1 Top meme that being a photo I could not recall ever seeing. Clinton and Bush Senior sitting with Wallace like good buddies at a table.
Clinton's brown hair shows the photo was taken way back when they had something in common or were in accord about something. Hmm!
That reminds me of a day when I caught tower duty at the prison and Preacher Thomas phoned me from another tower to say that he noticed that I had just bought a Honda Accord.
Then he said, "Do you know your Accord is in the Bible?" Me dino said no so he said that it's in the Bible that the disciples went out of the city in one accord.
That same coworker who at least way back ran a country church once told me about the sun going around the earth. I wound up teaching a brief astronomy lesson about suns being stars with orbiting planets.
Thomas then said he must have missed that day in class. Guess he did not have to take the same tests and exams I did.
I also guess it is just as well that I am an exCatholic nondemonizational Christion.
By the way, that what was written on that photo of Trump shaking Obama's hand caused me to bust out laughing.
All your election day memes are excellent and I really do hope all caught committing election fraud this time around get to have a long stay in a federal version of the state prison I used to work at.

I am posting Election memes . I will include that photo. Some would call them good old boys, I call them Sick evil Satanic parasitic scumbags. But I really don’t know a lot about Wallace ,I was told he was a racist towards blacks back in the day. But he also was shot ,usually they shoot the good guys. Kennedy’s, Reagan etc…

I truly think the time has come to burn it ALL down to the ground and start over. Story after story reports that scaredy-cat dems are whining and bitching that if he's elected, Trump will do the exact same thing to them that they've been doing to him for eight years.

I don't think there's any saving this Republic, even if Trump wins (which he won't be allowed to do) and R's take the Senate and hold the House. I think we're long past the point of no return.

Tonight's result will just exacerbate the fall of the once great country that was the United States.

Rand was very astute about things like that; philosophy and evil and... other things.

Most likely because she grew up when the Bolsheviks were taking over Russia. She saw it happen.

I believe it was Ayn Rand who said: In any compromise with evil, evil always wins.

I've thought about it for many years, and I understand now that it is because evil has no morals.

There were two 'rules' Alinsky promoted: the end justifies the means---evil; and use their morals against them---again, evil. If evils can be relative, then those are the worst. But can you say that any one evil is worse than another?

My name for Alinsky's Rules for Radicals is, EVIL.

And I think this is why it is so hard to defeat evil. Evil has no morals.

The audacity of hope, anyway, as a phrase has about as much coherence as what can be, unburdened by what has been (did I get the comma in the right place?) or perfection is the new enemy of the good.

But then again, maybe it's just me. I'm a straightforward kind of person. American, in other words.
