We have two generations indoctrinated with leftist dogma which is why so many Dems trip over each other to sound more socialistic. (Twenty-five years ago, Bill Clinton had to be a New Democrat to get elected.) That's why it's good that Schutlz, a Dem, is pushing back.

For the record, I like the doppio espresso longshot and, if I really need to wake up, the quad espresso!

Yep, it is kinda hard to understand.
The demoncrats have convinced him that his methods (capitalistic) are evil. He must now give all his wealth to them so that they can "distribute the proper amount" to the people and keep the majority of it for their efforts. to build a Brave New World!!!

Why do so called Capitalists like him not realize how they got where they are and try to end the freedom and liberty that made his business succesful? I just do not get why so many self-made men hate true Capitalism. They have not defined their moral principals correctly. Just my two cents.

He's certainly more reasonable (I'm not going to say actually reasonable) than the current list of Democrats who have declared. He's merely a modern Liberal. The rest are loony, extremist Progressives.

So a new socialist program that will finally work! Yeah!
Socialism is the destruction of the individual no matter how you package it. When you think you have the right to direct the lives of others you already think they are the slaves and you the benevolent slave master, who will kill any slaves who resist.
The national debt cannot be repaid, ever. Every dollar in the fiat currency system is borrowed. In order to pay the debt every dollar would have to disappear from the economy and the interest would still be owed on the debt. The fiat currency central bank scheme is a fraud and should simply be disbanded in favor of a currency system that represented value; i.e. the gold & precious metal standard.

Hope Schultz splits the Jackass Party vote by running as an independent. Not saying he will.
That's all me dino would ever want from him, though.

" Will he look closely at the science and see global warming is, in fact, not a serious problem?"
In my mind anyone at this level of rejection of science is not qualified to hold any high-ranking office.

I start to think the important thing is voters having a philosophy of the gov't being of we the people who grant power to the government. Policy makers will give them what they demand.

My first reaction is the country desperately wants a libertarian-leaning moderate Democrat, but I think the truth is that "country" in my imagination only includes the high-tech world. I don't know how people across all walks of life will respond. My sense is the general threat of socialism has increased.

Not saying he's going to suddenly become a libertarian. Just pointing out that this is interesting development, that he's saying the right things on a number of issues, which disrupts the far-left Democrat rhetoric. (By the way, I like double espresso!)

Can't stand his product. It's a complete ripoff and taste is poor.
I conclude he'll make a great looter. So far it's voluntary, but that won't be his way if elected.

After several very bad experiences in Connecticut with demons sounding like Republicans, I am skeptical of any liberal...wonder if he knows the proper definition of liberal?

A wonderful dream. Hard to conceive these days of any candidate that ins't in some manner "obligated".
