I had the opportunity to spend some time with Dominic Daniel on the set and was thoroughly impressed with his grasp of the character. Dominic brings Eddie to life in a way we have not yet seen.

I'm glad that the producers are giving us a preview of the new cast. I really want to get to know the new faces before I walk into the theater. Casts one and two were outstanding and I'm getting the feeling that three will be excellent, too. I can't wait for the release!

I really hope the last scene of the book gets in there with Eddie and the broken down train.. that to me pretty much sums up the book to me. Eddie never gave up on the looters, he genuinely tried. He was tenacious just like Dagny, but to the bitter end, and look where it left him... SOL .. at least that's my interpretation.

The actors keep improving with each new release! I didn't honestly think that any of them did a bad job though. The cast of AS1 was great, AS2 great, I'm sure AS3 will be the same (it is a little annoying trying to relearn who everyone is playing though).

I always thought the Eddie Wilers character would be damned difficult to do, and do right (How can you work for a true hero, then a craven slimeball moocher, and have your soul survive?)... If Dominic Daniel "gets" it (like Kris Polaha "got" John Galt) I can't see his interactions as anything other than stellar... so we sit, and even more impatiently, await!

Eddie has always been one of my most favorite characters in the book, and I'm glad that you found a strong person to portray him. Thank You All !!! -- j

By listening to Daniel speak he seems like an average guy who started average in life and worked his way to the top. I don't know if he's in character during this interview or that is his normal way, but he just comes across as a childhood buddy who made something of himself.

The only thing about Eddie is that he never wises up until he finds himself stranded in the middle of the Arizona desert on a broken-down train.

If he had any sense, he'd have thrown in with that wagon train and suggested they head east. Toward Phoenix and the Dan Conway ranch.

    He looks like .. !
But, what he says is great, none of this 'you did not make that'.
I am really looking forward to the release.
