I was deeply honored when Scott asked if he could use that copy... of course, the compensation they offered was generous (value for value, of course) but to me, the pride of being a part of this project, and what it stands for, is also compensation in its own right.

You can, but it shouldn't really be necessary as a publicly accessible archive will be available.
