Why is government stockpiling guns, ammo?

Word from my local FFL dealer said only foreign-made ammo will be available to consumers. However, customs is now delaying approval from 30-days to 6 months. Coincedence?
I'm just passing this on. This representative is highly conservative and has only been in office 6 years.
The number of his private army is much larger, though I can only find speculative numbers, when these people are added in.
I doubt the State legistlators in Springfield will be willing to change that set up anytime soon. Maybe MI will be different?
The masses who have not accomplished even home ownership would not vote, but we did away with that, making voting a right rather than a privilege one earns and clear terms in which one would earn it. With that simple shift we ensured that we would indeed see this kind of government evolve.
Cicero told us it would happen but we ignored the experiences of the Greek city states and the Romans before us who moved things to popular vote, to a democracy rather than a republic and they eventually lost there freedoms, became dictator states and then fell because of democracy rather than republic thinking..
It's good people are inquiring about this. I hope more continue to do so.

The next answer they usually follow up with is "It's a matter of National Security." Again, BS flag #2. Whose security? If it truly were a matter of National Security, Ovomit wouldn't be in office.
He was going to present documents that go back to the Clinton administration, the gist of them being the all out assault and bullying into submission the firearms industry. Pretty volatile stuff. I don't know if they're on public record so I can't say too much here. Cuomo was the main perpetrator of going after these companies. Go figure...
If someone with some time on there hands wanted to look at what weapons these private contractors are using we may find evidence of a link.
"....while they're making entry into the house."
(I don't actually believe that, just so you know..).
Restraint in moderation...but never in the Gulch. :) For some reason I feel like I should say something in code...like...the teacup is full, or the sparrow has landed...or something. oh! The coconuts have migrated.

Why are the ammo companies not getting the word out? If they have caught on, why would they agree to sell ALL their stock to just the govt? You would think they would sympathize with US citizens. they are private companies, after all-unless they have been totally commandeered by the defense dept
By the way, my husband wound up not getting called on to testify for the gun manufacturers. Some others did, but the rep that requested my husband's testimony didn't show. Go figure...
I'm not a fool though, I know that I just opened up a can worms...the AR crowd getting (ironically) fired up over what I encountered with the AR during my 20 years of being in the military. I'm sure there are fellers out there who can clearly demonstrate 1,000 + rounds of continuous fire with a single failure. My response is: great! It works for you, but not for me. I took personal care of my issued weapon, kept it damn clean, sighted in and after numerous FTX (field training exercises), and all-day ammo firings during my time serving, I've had enough of the AR. I prefer the mini. Yes, there are a few things I don't like about it. But, I can deal with it, versus FTF.
The AR15 is a great self defense weapon, but you need a 308 of some time around as well (or equivalent heavier caliber) because your going to run into targets the .223 round just wont take down, or does not have the range for when the poop hits the blades.
