"Your didn't build that..." redux

Remember when Obama said, "You didn't build that...?" This could not be a clearer statement of his Marxist philosophy than if he walked up to a microphone and declared himself, "I am a Marxist."

I've been reading Thomas J. Malone's book, "A Defense of American Ideals" (which I highly recommend, by the way) and ran across the following:

"Henry Hazlitt summed up Marxism as follows...

The whole gospel of Karl Marx can be summed up in a single sentence:
Hate the man who is better off than you are. Never under any circumstances
admit that this success may be due to his own efforts, to the productive
contribution he has made to the whole community. Always attribute his
success to the exploitation, the cheating, the more or less open robbery
of others. Never under any circumstances admit that your own failure may
be owing to your own weakness, or that the failure of anyone else may be
be due to his own defects - his laziness, incompetence, or stupidity.
..."

Obama's "You didn't build that..."comment reflects his own moral bankruptcy. He
wouldn't recognize an entrepreneur if he tripped over one.

    Clearly right!

    What I perhaps should've said is "Electing any black president would've demonstrated the elimination of real prejudice in the American people. This specific president chose to reinforce the racial lines because to eliminate them would unobscure the obvious benefits of capitalism and hinder his socialist agenda.

    He has also created division where there wasn’t any. Division between white and black, division between the rich and the rest of us, division between big government and big business, etc.

    That reminds me very much of a talk given by Dinesh D'Souza at Freedomfest. He also attributes this attitude to envy. I highly recommend to any of you who haven't already seen it, go see America: Imagine a World Without Her. Or, by now, you'll have to find it on DVD somewhere.

    Belief in God (as AA understands God) and morality are ESSENTIAL to the topic. The Collectivists and Socialists make the State god and the rulers his emissaries. The masses remain ignorant, illiterate,Tribute Slaves for endless generations as history teaches. The condition of mankind did not change until The Declaration of Independence. The first thing to go after a nation ceases to believe in God is moral decency. Once serving in high office was the natural progression up the ladder of honor for the meritorious, naturally arising from the class of common men. Alex De Tocqueville "Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith." John Adams "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." John Adams "The Hebrews have done more to civilize men than any other nation. If I were an atheist, and believed blind eternal fate, I should still believe that fate had ordained the Jews to be the most essential instrument for civilizing the nations. Aubustine " He that is kind is free, though he is a slave; he that is evil is a slave, though he be a king."
    C.S. Lewis "The very idea of freedom presupposes some objective moral law which overarches rulers and ruled alike. Unless we return to the crude and nursery-like belief in objective values, we perish." Billy Graham "The framers of our Constitution meant we were to have freedom of religion, not freedom from religion."

    You lost me several times, but really at " It is not fashionable to believe in God. But, we individually and as a nation are dead eternally if we don't. God showed the Jews time after time, that when they fell away from Him, they failed as a people and were conquered over and over again until they lost their nation recently restored in 1947. Belief in God and morality are as necessary to America's survival as are upholding and defending the Constitution."

    At risk of plagiarism my occasionally fault memory recalls, "the price of liberty is often paid with the blood of patriots" or something similar. This may be where we are headed. Alternatively, as Leonard Peikoff has predicted, America will become a Christian Theocracy and the Christians and Muslims will revisit the Crusades for the next 1000 years. Sorry, having a down day.

    Well said! The one thing Marxists hate is the concept of FREEDOM to be,choose, have, create, invent, own, companion, whatsoever and whomever according to our heroic protector Constitution. Sadly the Black race predominately wants to be cared for because they derive from slave stock. There are few who become Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Booker T. Washington, Fredrick Douglas,Justice Clearance Thomas, Star Parker, Dr. George Washington Carver, Deneen Borelli, Star Parker,
    Rev. E.W. Jackson,Rev. Ken Hutcherson,Lt. Col. West, Herman Cain, Rev.C.L.Bryant, Dr. Alveda King, and Dr. Martin L.King. What I am about to say next is going to seem deeply racist, but there is only saying it left to pull the scabs from the sore of race relations in America. It must be said unreservedly that Black citizens in America today were horridly mistreated by pre-Civil War plantation owners and white citizens of the Confederacy which continued under Jim Crow laws into the Twentieth Century post WWII until the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's. That is as far as it ever gets when the race relations debate rises in conversation. Blame is assuredly eternally fixed on the white race of the period 1776 through 1960. But the problem persists and worsens every year because no one wants to admit an even greater harm was done the Black race in America by the White race. Here it comes my dear readers; slave owners did not see the humanity in the Black race and thought them not human but rather intelligent animals as they considered thoroughbred horses. Blacks were selectively BRED. That remains the worst harm any race ever perpetrated upon another. It is the ROOT of the evil persisting today. Some were bred to intelligence and some were bred to serve as giants of labor. As much as both races hate to admit this, this WAS DONE. There are records that can be searched of slave auctions specifying "types and kinds" of negro slaves at auction. It hurts me more than any Black American can possibly know that this was done. That one race could have the power over another race to this extent and cause selective breeding of HUMANS! Today it turns our stomachs to realize the scope of inhumanity embraced in our nation's past. Can you imagine in the deepest, darkest, pits of denial in our White hearts that our forefathers did this? What then is the remedy? Should all White citizens be forever plundered to exact revenge visited upon them for the last 65 years as riot after riot has burned, smashed, looted their businesses only because their skin is WHITE? I think not. I think America can move beyond the atrocities of the past under the greatest document of freedom ever conceived of human intellect; the Constitution. If we lay HATE aside in both factions of our nation, and stop the destruction of the Constitution, as we march relentlessly toward perceived egalitarian ideals under Socialism, and continue under the rule of law in a Representative Republic, we can restore FREEDOM and individual sovereignty. And here's the kicker, to do that we must decrease the size of government, get rid of the FED, which re-enslaved all citizens under the Central Bank Act of 1913, abolish he IRS, the enforcement and collection agency of the FED, and put Congress back in charge as overseer of our nation's money as specified in the Constitution, Article 1, Section 8. There is something else. Whether you are born of slave stock, or slave holder stock, WE ARE AMERICANS FIRST!!!! Being condemned to relive the past ONLY applies to those who forget the lessons of history. WE REMEMBER! We remember the horrid inhumanity of SLAVERY and wish it never to return to any race no matter how justified the formerly offended may be. We AMERICANS are the greatest race who have ever graced the earth. No other nation in history HAVE ever benefited the populations of the world to the extent America has. If you are an AMERICAN, your skin color is RED,WHITE,BLUE. Whenever you see a fellow AMERICAN who is yellow, black, red, white or freckled, REMEMBER you are looking at an AMERICAN and they only come in RED,WHITE,BLUE! Also, remember Dr. Martin Luther King was a Christian pastor. He held service to GOD as his prime directive. He showed America how to put the past aside, unite in love for GOD, live by God's laws as found in the Bible Matthew 22:37-40. It is not fashionable to believe in God. But, we individually and as a nation are dead eternally if we don't. God showed the Jews time after time, that when they fell away from Him, they failed as a people and were conquered over and over again until they lost their nation recently restored in 1947. Belief in God and morality are as necessary to America's survival as are upholding and defending the Constitution. When I say GOD, I use the term as Alcoholics Anonymous uses it; "A God of your understanding." From the Street to elective office and our military defense God and morality must be restored in America. "The greatness of America lies not in being more enlightened than any other nation, but rather in her ability to repair her faults."

    I just received a July 1, 2014 summary which is
    pertinent:::
    =======
    Top Income Tax bracket went from 35% to 39.6%

    Top Income Payroll Tax went from 37.4% to 52.2%

    Capital Gains Tax went from 15 % to 28%

    Dividend Tax went from 15% to 39.6%

    Estate Tax went from 0% to 55%

    These taxes were all passed under the
    Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as
    ObamaCare.

    All these taxes were passed with only
    Democrat votes.

    Not *one* Republican voted to do these taxes.

    We Will Remember This, come election time.
